Across Columbia Street from our building is a concrete brick block house. Even though it’s painted white and seems well-maintained. It’s not what anyone would call attractive. I’ve passed it many times and never really looked at it. What caught my eye today was the door with the brass mail slot and the wrought iron gate. I almost posted the shot of the door in context, but who wants to see white-painted concrete blocks. So here’s the best part of the building – at least from the outside.
